FastPitch USSSA Event Notes

Events are post above in our tool bar, we will  be playing in the following areas--Salem / Dublin / Radford / Christiansburg / Covington / Roanoke / Botetourt / Lynchburg. 

All teams playingin any USSSA Fastpitch event from today thru August 1, 2013, We will take care of the team registration process.  Your cost is only $15.00 and can be payable to Roanoke USSSA Sports and given to Bruce prior to your first event!

 Checkout our UPDATED schedule for the remaining Spring/Summer season and our Fall schedule that begins August 1, 2013. We will run a full fastpitch schedule next year beginning in March 2014!  Those events are planned and listed in the drop down menu along with the events listed below.

Bruce Hurley will be the Roanoke USSSA Sports Fastpitch Director.  Bruce is pasionate, very detail, honest, and trustworthy.  He will be in charge of making our fastpitch program grow throughout the Western Virginia Area.  You can contact Bruce by clicking on our Contact Us page to the left!

When registering your team, please note that USSSA has 4 division classes:

Class A: Most Competitive Teams and teams that play very often.

Class B: Teams that play fairly often, mainly made up of area players.

Class C: Teams primarily comprised of recreational players, less competitive that a recreation all-star team

Class All-star:  Teams formed from area recreational all-star players.

Our Fastpitch Event Highlights:

  • All balls provided
  • 4 Game Guarantee -All 2 day events
  • 3 Game Guarantee-All 1 day events
  • VHSL and USSSA Sanctioned Officials
  • No time limits on Championship Games
  • All games will be played out--NO ties ever
  • Game time limits for all games except for Championship game are 1.5 hr time limits with no new inning starting after 1 hr and 20 minutes unless a game is tied, international tie breaker rules will be used in all tied games
  • Qualifier Event entry fees are as follows- 2 Day Events: $250.00 per team for all ages, gate fees are $5.00 per person for the weekend, ages 9 and under are free; 1 Day event entry fees are $200.00 per team, gate fees are $5.00 per person for the weekend, ages 9 and under are free

  • Awards to First and Second Place finishers in each division (team plaques and individual awards for players) for both one day and or two day events
